#415 VINTAGE G I JOE MINT DRESS MARINE UNIFORMED FIGURE

I have been collecting Vintage G I Joe since 1996. I have sold hundreds of vintage GIJoe items in that time. I have sold items on my website, on eBay and on other for sale sites. I have been buying and selling on eBay since the beginning of eBay. My dmckee63 screen name was originally registered in January of 1997 and I have had great success making people happy with what I sold to them.

ITEM #415 - VINTAGE GIJOE MINT DRESS MARINE UNIFORMED FIGURE.
Here is a photo of everything you get with this figure, MINT fresh out of a window box early dress marine uniform with bright white belt, dead mint perfect black tall plastic boots, super soft first issue dress hat and dog tag.

Here is the back of the figure, everything is minty and shiny.

Here is a close up of the back so you can see how mint and shiny the uniform material is.

Here is a close up of the face so you can see the light pink hue above Joe's lips. Probably from some obnoxious sister putting lipstick on her brother's favorite Joe. There is some pink tint on each sideburn as well.

Here is a close up of the left side of the head and hair.

Here is a close up of the back of the head so you can see the big scuff on his hair paint at the top.

Here is a close up of the right side of the face so you can see the only 2 scuffs on the hair paint.

Here are the perfectly shiny fresh out of the package boots. Unfortunately they came out of the package with 2 right boots. At least they are dead mint.

Here is the front of the figure to show that this Joe was never played with very much at all.

This is the back of the Joe which shows a super clean and shiny body.

Here is the top of the head again to clearly show the 2 scuffs on the hair paint.

Here is how firmly the Joe stands with no support. Most old Joes are wobbly and weak kneed. ALL of the parts are original to this Joe and nothing has been swapped out, everything matches perfectly. I would say though that a head swap would make this Joe nearly perfect.

This is one side of the perfect carded plastic boots.

Here is the other side of the dead mint and shiny boots.

The boots came from the carded "BASICS" card but both boots were for right feet. You can see on the Joe they still look great. You can see the major difference in boxed Joe boots and carded boots: these have very narrow ridges on the bottom BUT NO L or R.

The front of the dead mint uniform which I personally took out of a sealed window box and put on this Joe.

This is the back of the uniform and it is the only time it has been touched or removed from the Joe after I dressed it originally.

This is the close up of the EXTREMELY SOFT and ORIGINAL HASBRO dress cap. It is not perfectly mint but it is the original full sized cap that fits beautifully on a Joe's head.

Another close up of the cap on the inside showing no Hasbro Hong Kong markings like on most soft late issue caps. This is first issue and exactly like most hardened and shrunked down caps you see 99.99% of the time.

No joke, this is a SUPER SOFT and FULL SIZE dress cap. I guarantee you have NEVER seen one like this.

The gold paint on the button has turned a bit green and it has soaked into the surrounding white plastic. It is not perfect but it is a true rarity amongst the thousands of dress Marine caps you normally see.
