VINTAGE G I JOE SALESMAN SAMPLE BOX AND BLANK SOLDIER MANUAL

I have been collecting Vintage G I Joe since 1996. I have sold hundreds of vintage GIJoe items in that time. I have sold items on my website, on eBay and on other for sale sites. I have been buying and selling on eBay since the beginning of eBay. My dmckee63 screen name was originally registered in January of 1997 and I have had great success making people happy with what I sold to them.

ITEM #400 - VINTAGE GIJOE SALESMAN SAMPLE SOLDIER BOX WITH SALESMAN SAMPLE BLANK ARMY MANUAL AND STICKER SHEETS.
The box has quite a bit of wear but it is a complete, genuine and extremely rare salesman sample/prototype Action Soldier box with manual and sticker sheets. These were all found together and are guaranteed authentic.

Here is inside of the box lid, the bottom of the white paper wrapped base and the back of the blank manual which was glued onto the backing card of the salesman sample package it came from.

HERE IS THE LEFT SIDE OF BOTH BOX PIECES AND THE MIDDLE OF THE BLANK MANUAL. THIS IS PROBABLY THE ONLY PHOTO EVER SHOWN OF THE INSIDE OF A GENUINE SALESMAN SAMPLE MANUAL.

HERE IS THE RIGHT SIDE OF BOTH BOX PIECES SHOWING THE SIGNATURE ARTWORK THAT WAS REPLACED WHEN THE PRODUCTION BOXES WERE PRINTED.

HERE IS A CLOSE UP OF THE BLANK MANUAL THAT CAME WITH THE BOX. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE SOME WATER DAMAGE ON THE MANUAL THAT IS SIMILAR TO THE WATER DAMAGE ON THE BOX BASE.

ITEM #400 - VINTAGE GIJOE SALESMAN SAMPLE SOLDIER BOX AND BLANK SOLDIER MANUAL
I have owned this salesman sample box for about 20 years. It had a lot of wear and water damage as you see in the photos when I acquired it. It was found in a big lot of first issue items with many salesman samples. This lot was found a few miles from the original Pawtucket, Rhode Island Hasbro factory. This is one of the only pieces I have left from that purchase. The 2 original sticker sheets also are included in this sale.

The blank Soldier manual is probably even more rare than the Soldier box as only a few genuine blank manuals have ever surfaced. You can see the rust on the staples in the middle, evidence you can not fake. It is a wide manual, not a narrow manual like with most boxed figures. It is a mock up manual with only the front cover printed.

It is nearly impossible to put a price on such rare items. When less than 6 of anything exist in the world to such an iconic item as a boxed GIJoe, the word priceless is thrown around. You can purchase this rare box, manual and sticker sheets for $2,500
