I have been collecting a lot of different things most of my life and Vintage G I Joe for 20 years. I have sold hundreds of vintage GIJoe items in that time. I have sold items on my website, on eBay and on other for sale sites. I have been buying and selling on eBay since the beginning of eBay. My dmckee63 screen name was originally registered in January of 1997 and I have had great success making people happy with what I sold to them.

The time has come for me to pare down my collection and this will be the main place I will do so. I will be working on several pages and groupings of items for sale and linking them all to the main front page. I will also be selling items on eBay to get rid of a few harder to sell items. ITEM #250 - FIRST ISSUE ROUND SNAP SAILOR UNIFORM

ITEM #250 - VINTAGE GIJOE FIRST ISSUE ROUND SNAP SAILOR UNIFORM
This is a REALLY interesting first issue uniform. It has the GIJOE T M by HASBRO Made in Japan tag on both pieces. The true first issue boxed Sailor soft twill dark blue pants would only be included in T M - T M or R - T M boxed Sailors. The light blue denim shirt has all ORIGINAL ROUND SNAPS all tightly sewn on with the original thread and same goes for both little white buttons. There are a lot of little rusty color specks or spots all over this shirt which has some wear as well. I did try washing the dirt out of this shirt but the stains are permanent. It is still VERY unusual to find a shirt with all of these shiny little round snaps. Maybe it can be a donor shirt for the round snaps. The pants are really nice with a slight amount of wear but there are no other stains, snags, tears or repairs other than the rust spots mentioned on the shirt. This uniform is sold as a set for $40 and would be a lot more if the shirt didn't have all of the little rust spot stains.
