VINTAGE GIJOE FIRST ISSUE CARDED SOLDIER FATIGUES
The full description is at the bottom of the page after all of the photos.

I have been collecting a lot of different things most of my life and Vintage G I Joe for 20 years. I have sold hundreds of vintage GIJoe items in that time. I have sold items on my website, on eBay and on other for sale sites. I have been buying and selling on eBay since the beginning of eBay. My dmckee63 screen name was originally registered in January of 1997 and I have had great success making people happy with what I sold to them.

The time has come for me to pare down my collection and this will be the main place I will do so. I will be working on several pages and groupings of items for sale and linking them all to the main front page. I will also be selling items on eBay to get rid of a few harder to sell items. Please come back regularly to see what I have available. Some of these items will be things you have never seen before and will probably never have a chance to buy again once they are gone. Thank you for your time!

ITEM #246 - VINTAGE GIJOE FIRST ISSUE CARDED SOLDIER FATIGUES
When I say "CARDED" I mean that these uniform pieces were different that regular Soldier fatigues found on boxed Joes. These are the DELUXE fatigue shirt and pants which were sold on individual small cards. They are made of a heavier material and are MUCH nicer than you normally find. They are not a perfect match in color but are VERY close. Both shirt and pants are tagged GIJoe ™ by Hasbro Made in Japan. The back of the pants have real usable pockets and has 2 snaps at the crotch. The shirt has 3 snaps and 3 buttons down the middle with a snap on each pocket. All of the buttons and snaps are sewn firmly in place with the original thread. There is only a very minute amount of wear from being stored in a footlocker for over 40 years until I found them. There are no stains, snags, tears of repairs of any kind and most importantly there is no sticker residue anywhere on them. They are really hard to find in this great condition and deep green color so they are a lot more expensive than most Soldier fatigues, sold as a set for $100
