TRUE FIRST ISSUE CARD-NO SLIDER ON THE HEAVY WEAVE BELT-ORANGE VINYL STRAPS ON HOLSTER AND BILLY CLUB-BLOCK LETTERING M.P. ON HELMET-HELMET STICKER SAYS MILITARY POLICE INSTEAD OF THE USUAL MP HELMET AND SMALL ARMS CARD. I BET YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN EVEN ONE OF THESE CARDS.

TRUE FIRST ISSUE CARD WITH THE LARGE TURTLE SHELL HELMET WITH THE BLOCK LETTERING M P. MOST SOLDIER CARDS WERE MADE IN JAPAN BUT NOT THIS FIRST SHIPMENT IN 1964 CARD FROM HONG KONG
TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER #7524 M. P. JACKET CARD
At first glance this looks like an ordinary M. P. Jacket. But on further inspection you will see this is a perfect, absolute first issue Military Police "IKE" Jacket card. Note the wording on the bottom right corner, showing that it was made before the attorneys made Hasbro mention "British Crown Colony" of Hong Kong. The term IKE jacket refers to the style of officers uniform that General (and President) Dwight Eisenhower wore on the battlefield. The bottom of the Jacket met, but did not overlap, the top of the pants and the jacket and pants are much more tight fitting that a normal MP uniform. The true first issue M. P. uniforms were made exactly this way and were only made for the first shipment that came from Hong Kong. The material is a much darker brown, more of a chocolate brown and was always tagged T M - HONG KONG. The dickey on these uniforms was always bright red as opposed to the later Japan made uniforms where it was more of a salmon color. I know a lot of people think you should be able to find olive drab uniforms in the package but I do not believe they were made O. D. for production. I think the O.D. green M. P. uniforms were only salesman samples. THIS is the true first issue, the T M - HONG KONG chocolate brown M. P. uniform. This card is PERFECT in every way. Original helmet sticker, all contents perfectly sewn in place, the brochure on the back in glued onto the card, no cello tears or poke throughs at all.

TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER #7525 M. P. PANTS CARD
This is the absolute first issue as well and a perfect match for the jacket card above with no mention at all of Japan on the back corner of the card. Dark chocolate brown, one pocket flap pants (you can tell by how flat the pants are when you touch the visible flap that there isn't another flap on the other cheek) card. This one is also perfect, original helmet sticker, perfect cello, no tears or poke throughs, the brochure is firmly in place.

TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER #7526 M. P. HELMET CARD
You have to look at this package for a long time to notice what is different. This is another piece I have handed to a half dozen hard core collectors in person and none of them saw what is unusual about it. This card actually has a lot of first issue indicators including the unusual wording on the helmet sticker. Almost all of the helmet stickers for this #7526 say MP helmet and small arms card but this one just says Military Police. Made and printed in British Crown Colony of Hong Kong on the back says this is first issue as well as the square corner dark woodgrain pattern of the backing card. There is no slider on the belt either; the real first issue belts never has a slider; they were made to be tucked in with the holster!. The material on the belt is also true first issue, much heavier than most belts. Lastly is the markings on the helmet; the M.P. is SANS SERIF, no lines across the top of the M or bottoms of the M and P like the font I'm using to write this description. Check out the pistol too; it is just like a normal SP pistol with the large diamond grip and a normal round trigger guard. Almost ALL M P .45's are the fine grip later issue, made in Japan versions. Other than a small crease on the backing card, this is literally a perfect card with no tears in the cello, everything perfectly sewn into place, original helmet sticker, even a nice retail store sticker on the card. This is also the TRUE MEANING of OLD STORE STOCK where something has actually been in a store, was never sold and is in perfect condition; the reason people use the term OSS or OLD STORE STOCK in the first place because it IMPLIES that the item is perfect!

TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER DUFFLE BAG CARD
This is also a very curious card. It has no helmet sticker but the markings on the back of the card make it first issue, MADE AND PRINTED IN HONG KONG only. Also, the brochure is STAPLED onto the back is the biggest hint that this is truly the first batch ever made. This may even be a salesman sample card because some of my other salesman sample cards used staples to hold things in place. The outer wrap is also a POLY BAG and NOT the normal cellophane. There is a pull tear on the front top, almost like someone removed an old round sticker. I have seen several salesman sample cards which had brightly colored round stickers, about the size of the tear in about the same place. I even have one of these in my collection. There is also a small hole in the poly bag on the back middle of the card. This card also has some wear on the 4 corners UNDER the poly bag so it has been handled some. I presume this was tossed in and out of a briefcase of a salesman taking it out to show customers. Just my imagination maybe but this is a really unusual package. I obtained this piece from a person who was known to have salesman sample cards including another card, a soldier pants card which also had the poly bag and stapled on brochure. I know it is just a duffle bag card to most people but when you add all 4 cards together it is a very cool mini collection.

VINTAGE G I JOE TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER MILITARY POLICE FOUR CARD SMALL CARD COLLECTION
All of these cards hold their value in where and how differently they were made and are all genuinely rare. A loose mint uniform exactly like this is a rare thing all by itself. I guarantee you could probably look for another 10 years and never find 2 of these cards for sale, let alone find all 4. These four cards are a great mini collection and are more interesting together so I am selling them this way. If you like sealed accessory cards and are a true first issue collector then this 4 card MP set should add greatly to your collection. The 4 cards shown here are only sold together for $800.
