VINTAGE G I JOE TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER #7503 and #7504 DELUXE FATIGUE SHIRT AND PANTS CARDS
The full description is at the bottom of the page.
I have been collecting a lot of different things most of my life and Vintage G I Joe for 20 years. I have sold hundreds of vintage GIJoe items in that time. I have sold items on my website, on eBay and on other for sale sites. I have been buying and selling on eBay since the beginning of eBay. My dmckee63 screen name was originally registered in January of 1997 and I have had great success making people happy with what I sold to them.
The time has come for me to pare down my collection and this will be the main place I will do so. I will be working on several pages and groupings of items for sale and linking them all to the main front page. I will also be selling items on eBay to get rid of a few harder to sell items. Please come back regularly to see what I have available. Some of these items will be things you have never seen before and will probably never have a chance to buy again once they are gone. Thank you for your time!
CLOSE UP OF THE FIRST ISSUE SOLDIER DELUXE FATIGUE SHIRT CARD FRONT
This was a Christmas present for someone way back in 1964 and the tag is permanently stuck to the helmet sticker. It is OBVIOUSLY original to the VERY first issue card. SUPER dark olive drab green material on the shirt. There is a 2 inch slit tear on the left edge bottom corner but other than that the cello is perfect!
CLOSE UP OF THE FIRST ISSUE SOLDIER DELUXE FATIGUE SHIRT CARD BACK
The brochure is probably glued on and the shirt is still firmly sewn to the card. The bottom right corner shows it was all made in Hong Kong, part of the first issue, one of the first shipments of GIJoe stuff to America.
CLOSE UP OF THE TAG OF THE SHIRT
The close up clearly shows the tag says Made in Hong Kong with the light colored stitching detail.
CLOSE UP OF THE FIRST ISSUE SOLDIER DELUXE FATIGUE PANTS CARD FRONT
The pants card is a dead on match in material color and backing card. This pair of cards has been together for a long time and probably since they were originally gifted in 1964. I originally remember that both cards had the same Christmas sticker but the one has disappeared. Please note the top of the snap showing and it is round. I forgot to take a photo of the back of this card but it is absolutely identical to the shirt card. There are no cello tears anywhere except for a very small one quarter inch diameter poke through on the top right corner.
CLOSE UP OF THE FIRST ISSUE SOLDIER DELUXE FATIGUE SHIRT AND PANTS CARD FRONT
This beautiful pair of cards is part of my whole first issue collection. I believe they are highly desirable and should be sold separately. You can clearly see by my photo that both cards are a dead on match, were made at the same time and probably out of the same batch of material and thread in 1964.
ITEM #143 - VINTAGE GIJOE ACTION SOLDIER #7503 and #7504 DELUXE FATIGUE SHIRT AND PANTS CARDS
It is hard enough to find either of these pieces loose ( I am STILL looking for a perfect loose matched mint uniform like this now and have been for about 10 years) let alone finding them perfectly preserved in their original packages. On top of that they are a perfect match and they are true first issue uniforms and cards. I am sure you have never seen a pair of cards like this; it is the only pair I have ever seen in 15 years of chasing first issue stuff. I am sure you will NEVER find someone selling them ever again. I will not sell these for less than $800 for the pair and I will not break the set up.
