VINTAGE G I JOE TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER #7501 FIELD JACKET WINDOW BOX IN HIGH GRADE ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION
The full description is at the bottom of the page. Please read the notes under each photo as well. There is a good story to tell.

I have been collecting a lot of different things most of my life and Vintage G I Joe for 20 years. I have sold hundreds of vintage GIJoe items in that time. I have sold items on my website, on eBay and on other for sale sites. I have been buying and selling on eBay since the beginning of eBay. My dmckee63 screen name was originally registered in January of 1997 and I have had great success making people happy with what I sold to them.

The time has come for me to pare down my collection and this will be the main place I will do so. I will be working on several pages and groupings of items for sale and linking them all to the main front page. I will also be selling items on eBay to get rid of a few harder to sell items. Please come back regularly to see what I have available. Some of these items will be things you have never seen before and will probably never have a chance to buy again once they are gone. Thank you for your time!

TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER #7501 FIELD JACKET WINDOW BOX FRONT
At first glance this looks like an ordinary window box. But on further inspection you will see exactly how special this piece is and why I have had it in my collection for so long. It appears to have a cloudy cello surface but that is not the case.

TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER #7501 FIELD JACKET WINDOW BOX BACK
This is the absolute first issue, probably one of the first shipments of normal merchandise that came over from Hong Kong in 1964. Note the wording on the bottom right corner, showing that it was made before the attorneys made them mention British Crown Colony of Hong Kong. Also note the T M - T M on the logos on the front and back.

CLOSE UP OF BOTTOM OF THE WINDOW BOX
This close up shows exactly what is so unusual about this package; it is completely Shrink Wrapped. It is perfectly shrink wrapped so that it is hard to see unless you look at the package really closely. It has been shrunk down very tightly over the years so that it has pulled in the top and bottom fold-over flaps too tight. But, the beautiful shrink wrap has preserved this package perfectly! There is absolutely NO WEAT AT ALL on ANY SPOT on this window box.

CLOSE UP OF THE TOP OF THE WINDOW BOX
This close up photo shows how perfectly everything has been preserved. All 4 corners still have the original cello tape under the shrink wrap. You can see no tears, no stains, no folds or any damage at all! Furthermore, the old store price sticker is ON THE OUTSIDE of the shrink wrap. This means that it was Woolworth's Department store that actually did the shrink wrapping. Look how perfect the seal is on the wrap!

CLOSE UP OF THE MADE IN HONG KONG PRINTING.

CLOSE UP OF THE GIJOE T M - T M LOGO
Notice how crisp and clean the printing is. ALL of the printed images are crisp and fresh because they were made with the first set of printing plates. This was the first issue and this is also the first package in numerical order, #7501. The colors are brighter, the images more solid, everything like Hasbro originally intended so their stuff would stand out on the toy store shelves.

CLOSE UP OF ARTWORK PANEL
Compare your boxed Soldier artwork to this artwork panel. See how brilliant everything is including the GIJoe logo? I am in the packaging business so maybe I see it different than most people. But, to me, this is a REALLY beautiful piece, especially since it HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED BY HUMAN HANDS FOR FIFTY YEARS! This logo is also an absolute identical match to my salesman sample Soldier box

CLOSE UP OF THE TOP OF THE JACKET
This close up, looking down into the collar of the jacket reveals the true first issue nature of the package. Check the T M - HONG KONG tag and the white detail stitching on the collar. DEEP Olive Drab Green color, just like the first issue deluxe uniform cards I have for sale as well.

CLOSE UP OF THE BAYONET
This is another great detail most people don't pay attention too. The true first issue bayonet is NOT marked J A P A N on it. THIS is the true first issue bayonet, flat black painted grip and the skinny Hong Kong bayonet mold with extremely sharp detail. I have another Salesman Sample sealed package which correlates my claim about this bayonet. The normal bayonets in Soldier packages were made with a dulled down safer and wider bayonet made in Japan with newer molds. I bet more than a few kids had their eyes poked bad by this weapon!

CLOSE UP OF THE CARTRIDGE BELT AND MANUAL
This is a good close up to show how identical the material on the jacket and web belt are including the white stitching detail. I zoomed in too close to show but there is NO SLIDER on the end of the web belt because a life size web belt didn't have a slider either. You were supposed to tuck the other end of the belt into something cool like a cloth first aid pouch or a handgun holster.

PERFECT CLOSE UP OF THE MAIN LOGO - PERFECTION!

VINTAGE G I JOE TRUE FIRST ISSUE ACTION SOLDIER #7501 FIELD JACKET WINDOW BOX IN HIGH GRADE ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION
This is not just hard to find, this is probably a unique, one-of-a-kind piece, suitable for a Vintage GIJoe museum. Oh yeah, that's right, there is NO such museum. I can guarantee you have never imagined a piece preserved so well for 50 years and it is impossible to put a price on this item. Even a C9+ normal Field Jacket Window box probably hasn't changed hands in 10 years as they are so few and far between. This one has to be worth at least 3 to 4 times as much as a normal one but I am only pricing this piece at $700.
